Events: 
1) Big Horse Cleanup 2.0, on 1/25/25 (back up date 2/1/25) at 10:00am. The volunteers will meet at Lansing Creeper Trail Park (114 S Big Horse Creek Rd, Lansing, NC 28643, 36.49936111538509, -81.51160886337065) at 10:00 am on 1/25/25. You will need to  bring food, water and to dress for cold weather. If folks have waders please bring them. We will likely work until about 2:00 pm. This cleanup will be a collaboration between Mountain True, Keep Ashe Beautiful, and Trout Unlimited. 

2) Helton Creek Clean on March 29, 2025 (back up date on April 5, 2025). This project is still developing, so more details to come.

3)  North Fork of the New River, on 4/12/25 (back up date on 4/19/25) at 10:00 am. The volunteers will meet at the Creston Fire Station (167 3 Top Rd, Creston, NC 28615, 36.42990307013774, -81.62010433035957) at 10:00am on 4/12/25. This will be a float cleanup so folks will need to prepare to be on the water for around 5 hours. Snacks and water will be required as well as waders. NRC and Mountain True will be working collaboratively on this effort.
