Reminder- Our May chapter meeting is at 6:00 PM tomorrow evening, Tuesday, May 15 at Lone Star Steakhouse, 1110 Creekshire Way (off Hanes Mall Blvd across from Target). Our program will feature the return of TU's Southeast Land Protection Coordinator, Damon Hearne. Trout Unlimited has given the Southeast states a great gift by funding the position held by Damon (he works out of the NCTU Asheville office). He and TU have already completed several significant projects to preserve trout waters in North Carolina (North Mills River - Henderson county) and in neighboring states (Rock Fork in TN). It should be very interesting to hear an update regarding what Damon is working on now.
